I come to the cross with my guilt and my shame
I trust in Your atoning death for my peace

I look to that day
When I’ll be with You for ever
And I’ll be completely saved
From every trace of my sin
And there I’ll serve You, Lord
Forever in perfect holiness
Always to bring You praise
And never failing anymore

There isn't a day goes by when I am not grateful that the God of the Bible is a God who forgives. James 4: 6 puts it like this: "But he gives us more grace". Just when you think you've blown it for the last time and that all grace has run out, God, through the Lord Jesus, forgives and gives more grace.

That's what this song is all about. The amazing gift of the forgiveness of sins! But just as amazing is that God doesn't just forgive, but is at work in us to help us stop sinning and that He has promised us a day when we will be completely rescued from the presence and power of sin.

I'm looking forward to that day very much! Until then, there is more grace for the rebel who returns and the humble who believe!

James 4: 6

Faith is a journey. Faith in Christ is a walk with God that takes the believer along many different roads. A call to start the journey through the message of the Gospel, a response of faith in the One who died on the cross. A journey of joy, love, peace, but at times suffering and trials. Battles with sin and Satan, but always grace to keep us strong and to bring us to our Journey's end; to be with the One who called us to start walking in faith.
